Avi Wiseman is a composer, arranger and producer, Established his career by making soundtracks for Film and TV in Israel and USA.

He has scored for the films Tshuva (2023 Los Angeles) and was nominated for best score for short drama film - on Veneto film festival, channel 8 (HOT) “Why Didn't You Tell Me”, “Heshek” (Trailer), segments for the TV series by channel Kan “Trip After the Army”, and segments for children TV Series in Shula Spiegel production “Shakshuka” (2023), Independent production "Alef Bet" produced for Hai Perez.

Avi began scoring in 2004, learning the craft independently, studied piano with Galina Kleiman, music theory with Dr. Bat-Sheva Rubinstein, composition in the Israeli conservatory with Dr. Alexander Korenhendler, and musicology at the Tel Aviv University. 

 

As a multi-instrumentalist, Avi is skilled in playing piano, violin, viola, cello and flute. Middle eastern strings: Oud, Lautar (Guembri). Flutes: Souna, Dizzi, Hulusi, Irish flute, and more.

His past tuba, trumpet and bassoon lessons, and enthusiasm to learn orchestration - gave him the opportunity to write compatible music with the orchestra players. 

 

Currently, enhancing his knowledge in the craft of sound and music production under Zohar Bartov. 

Participated in the Master-Class of the Grammy award winner Sharon Farber, who is also his mentor. 

 

Registered member in ACUM (copyrights administration organisation) and in the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) since 2017.

 

Producing Tallinn-Tel-Aviv MustonenFest (Estonian-Israeli classical music festival) for 6 years, also composed the music for the festival logo.
